Custom Home — Construction Management & Interior Trim

In 2018, Guy Garrett, through Garrett Construction, managed this new custom home from start to finish for builder The House that Jack Built (Jack Whetstine) and the client. Garrett Construction also performed the interior door and trim work throughout the home, including the living room’s coffered ceiling, and installed the home’s heavy steel entry doors and frame.

Setting the steel entry frame

The steel entry doors and frame were exceptionally heavy. We spent approximately 80 percent of the installation time getting the frame correctly positioned and aligned. With that preparation complete, the door slabs slipped onto the hinge pins.
