Meet Garrett Construction

Hands-on experience. A shared commitment to the work.

Garrett Construction is a family-run building company serving Northwest Florida. Founded and led by Guy Garrett, the company brings together practical experience, thoughtful problem-solving, and people who care about doing the work well.

A builder's background.

Guy grew up around construction. His father built in Panama City in the 1970s, and working alongside him helped shape a lifelong interest in how buildings come together.

Guy has been hands-on in construction since 1997. His experience includes building, estimating, managing projects, and roofing, giving him a broad view of the decisions that connect the structure, exterior, and finished space.

Built by more than one person.

Garrett's work reflects the contributions of family, crew members, subcontractors, and the mentors and colleagues who have shared their knowledge along the way.

Kendra handles the business operations that support the work, including bookkeeping, payroll, insurance, and administration.

Luke has played a substantial hands-on role in many of the projects shown in our portfolio. Lincoln also works with the company part-time while attending college.

Guy leads the company with appreciation for those contributions and a commitment to helping the next generation grow in the trade.

Clear communication along the way.

We believe a good building experience includes understanding the choices you're making. We take time to consider the property, explain the approach, and work through questions with you and the people involved in your project.

That same curiosity leads us to explore different materials and methods, including our new SCIP construction offering.

Guy and Kendra

Roots in Northwest Florida.

Guy and Kendra raised five children here. Family, faith, and community are an important part of their life, including Guy's involvement in worship at Bear Creek Assembly of God.

Their appreciation for older buildings is personal, too. Guy and Luke spent years of weekends deconstructing a turn-of-the-century house in Chipley, and some of its heart pine became the Garrett office.
