Enclosed Porch Remodel

Remodeled room with a lit built-in bookcase, a hanging bed on ropes, sliding glass doors, and a checkerboard tile floor.

A better connection to the rest of the home.

We remodeled a previously enclosed covered porch in Inlet Beach to create a space for reading, relaxing, and working at home. Sliding glass doors replaced the existing single door and windows, and we modified openings connecting the room to the main house. A four-inch concrete cap raised the slab to align with the main house floor.

The finish-out brings together a built-in bookcase, a hanging bed, and office cabinetry with an integrated desk. A checkerboard tile floor and detailed trim give the room its own character while connecting it to the adjoining living space.
